		<title>Proposal for a New Conservation Area 2010</title>
		<description>
In Autumn 2010 we sounded out the council with the idea of an additional conservation area in High Barnet.
The idea was not well received. This came as no surprise as we have long been aware that the council struggles
to keep a handle on the existing conservation areas, and in the current climate council resources are being squeezed even more.
The proposal remains on ice, but the detailed proposal that we developed is available on our web site and we would welcome any comments.
It is a fairly large (6 Mbyte) Microsoft Word document, as it contains photos.
