Parking Recommendations

On 11 August 2008 we submitted our Parking Recommendations to Barnet Council proposing how the parking situation in High Barnet could be improved.

Annual General Meeting 4th June 2008

We held our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 4 June 2008 at 8pm in The Wesley Hall, Stapylton Road, Barnet, EN5 4JJ.

There were reports from the Secretary and Treasurer and a Membership update, followed by the election of officers. The existing committee were re-elected, and a new committee member (sorry I don't have the lady's name to hand -- email the webmaster, address below, if you know!).

Following the formal business there was an open discussion on the future of the High St with particular reference to the proposed redevelopment of The Spires.

About Us

Barnet Residents Association (BRA) covers the High Barnet and Underhill wards in the London Borough of Barnet. A map showing the exact area can be seen on London Borough of Barnet’s website – see Links.

BRA aims to watch and safeguard the interests of residents in the area covered. We take an interest in matters in the area which might affect residents such as parking and road safety, local transport and more generally the plans and activities of the local Council. We look at planning applications for major projects which might affect people generally, although we do not have the resources to look at all small planning applications.
